Unfortunately due to daily attacks upon our site by spammers, we have been forced to require manual authorisation of new accounts before users can edit our wiki. We nevertheless encourage anyone and everyone with a genuine interest in ASCEND to please request an account, and to make any contributions you would like to make.

  1. Please check our ASCEND:Privacy policy (it's not scary... we keep normal server logs, that's all)
  2. Upon filling in the Account Request page, you must 'confirm' your email address (click the link in the received email) before we can authorise your account.
  3. Please don't post to our wiki unless it's relevant to our project.
  4. Once registered, please edit your 'user page' to give some details about yourself so that other users can find out who you are. You might want to give a link to your homepage, etc.

We're sorry that we had to put these limitations in place. Spam control was just wasting too much of our time.
