Ben Allan is a former ASCEND GSOC mentor and is still episodically involved in development as his personal time allows.
His particular primary interests are in:
- refactoring the globals out of ascend C code.
- to make it thread-safe and embeddable.
- to make it easily integrated with other languages, and vice versa.
- to make it easier to liberate models from ascend once they are developed.
