Optimization Services input instance Language (OSiL) is an XML-based language for representing instances of large-scale optimization problems.OSiL is highly extendible and presently supports the following optimization types :

  • Linear
  • Mixed integer
  • Bound constrained optimization
  • General quadratic optimization
  • Multi-objective optimization
  • Nonlinear unconstrained/constrained
  • General mixed integer nonlinear
  • General nonlinear with user-defined functions
  • General nonlinear with xml data (either locally within the OSiL or remotely located)
  • General nonlinear with data look up (XPath)
  • Constraint/logic programming
  • Complementarity problem
  • General nonlinear with simulations (black-box functions)
